From February 14th to March 12th, the International University and Curtin University (Australia) officially signed an electronic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important milestone in advancing international cooperation in the field of Food Technology.
This agreement is not just about signing a document; it represents a strong commitment from both universities to develop student and faculty exchange programs, as well as collaborative training and in-depth research in the field of Food Technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and faculty from both institutions to participate in research projects, develop new technologies, and improve food production processes, thereby creating sustainable values for the food industry.
Earlier, on December 4th, 2024, Professor Ranil Coorey and Dr. Luu Thi Hue from the Department of Food Science and Technology at Curtin University visited and worked at the International University. During their visit, the two experts participated in an in-depth seminar titled “FOOD MICROBIOLOGY, NUTRITION AND PUBLIC HEALTH,” where the latest research on food microbiology, nutrition, and public health was presented and discussed. In addition, the experts had the opportunity to exchange ideas on new directions for developing academic programs, research, and technological innovation between the two universities.
