1. Master scholarships

– Students or graduate students are exempted from tuition fees for the entire course at International University (excluding intensive English courses) according to one of the following three levels:
     + Level 1: 100% tuition exemption
     + Level 2: 50% tuition exemption
     + Level 3: 25% tuition exemption

      1.1. Requirements

– Subjects: All candidates with direct admission and admission to majors taught in English

– The number of given scholarships for each major is decided by the Admissions Council based on the balance of the scholarship fund (equivalent to 30% of tuition revenue).

Conditions (meet 1 of the following conditions) – Graduated as valedictorian, achieved gold/silver medal or GPA ≥ 90.
– Co-authored a WoS/Scopus magazine article.

Number (based on the number of students directly admitted / admitted with passing results) – Maximum 20%
– Priority order: according to the proposal of the Professional Subcommittee (GPA; Science and Technology benchmark, graduation from International University).
– According to the decision of the Admissions Council based on the remaining number of scholarships

      1.2. Scholarship maintaining conditions

– Candidates receiving scholarships will be reviewed each semester. To maintain the scholarship, they need to achieve:
     + GPA of each semester ≥ 75/100, with no subject < 55/100, applicable to all training majors and scholarship levels mentioned above;
   + Participate in at least one promotional activity or share major-related information on social networks;
     + Complete tasks regarding working time at the Faculty/Institute (if any).

2. Scientific research scholarship after completing the course

– Candidates learn research methods to achieve equivalent scientific publication results according to the standard science and technology (S&T) scale

– If the candidates do not meet the conditions for scientific publication, they will be transferred to a lower scholarship level and the financial difference in scholarship will be refunded.

3. Academic encouraging and scientific research scholarships

     3.1.  Academic encouraging scholarships

– A scholarship of 25% of the entire semester’s tuition is granted to postgraduates with the highest academic results during the semester;

– Number: 10% of the number of students enrolled in the course;

– Candidates who have just met the requirements to receive admission scholarships and incentive scholarships will receive a higher one;

– The cumulative average score during the semester to be considered for a scholarship must be ≥ 80 and the number of credits earned during the semester must be ≥ 10;

– Scholarships are only granted for official semesters (not for extension periods). Summer semester results are counted together with the 2nd semester of the year.

     3.2. Scientific research scholarships

Target candidates: Postgraduates with good scientific research capacity (priority is given to candidates with scientific publications).

Requirements: Commitment to participating in scientific research activities and participating in 01 scientific research project at the National University level or higher of the Faculty/Center.

Benefits: Be considered for admission as a research assistant and receive living expenses from the school of 3.5 million VND/month and additional expenses of 1.5 million VND/month from instructors.

Number of scholarship: 5 (School of Biotechnology)

– Candidates who have published scientific publications will be given priority for scholarship consideration. Scholarships will be prioritized based on author role (first author, contact author, co-author, etc.)
